BREACH OF DIRECTORS’ DUTIES

The directors of a company are its officers who are responsible for representing and promoting the interests of the company and to this end, they have a wide range of important duties. If a director of a company breaches his or her fiduciary duties, they could face civil action in which the claimant may claim for damages for lost profits or negligence on the part of the director.

At N. Pirilides & Associates, we have a highly accomplished team of commercial litigation lawyers which are well aware of the challenges that face directors and companies. It is therefore our aim to help our clients to resolve the most challenging of legal issues they experience in such cases, whether through litigation or arbitration. We can advise as to how to identify and potentially rectify such a breach of those duties and the legal options available to you either as a director at fault, or on behalf of the Company, who suspects foul play by one of its directors.
