Pirilides & Associates LLC successfully and effectively represented and advised a Group of Companies (owners of one of the largest chain of Hotels in Cyprus & Greece) in one of the biggest, complex and long lasting series of court cases between the parties involved, before various courts of Cyprus, over a series of debts totalling around €288,000,000.00 and, inter alia, allegations of conspiracy and the consequent settlement of all pending litigation.
Our Firm has been successful in the context of a criminal private prosecution, for the serious offences of fraud, misrepresentation and conspiracy to defraud, before the District Court of Limassol which earlier this month found guilty the director and shareholder of several real estate development companies which were part of a joint venture, concerning an infrastructure project in Limassol.
Our Firm has recently handled a high-profile and high-value transaction for a group of companies, namely Bioland Holdings, which is going to operate an 80 million worth modern plant, generating energy through the innovative process of pyrolysis.
The President Judge of the District Court of Larnaca quashed an interim order issued ex-parte in a case based on an alleged trespass to a piece of land (on which the alleged trespassers/defendants operate one of the biggest play centres in Cyprus).
