Persephone is an Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department of N. Pirilides & Associates LLC since March 2018.
She graduated in Law with Honours from the University of Leicester in 2015. In 2016 she completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Bristol, and simultaneously acquired an Msc in Law, Business and Management. Persephone is a registered Advocate in Cyprus and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2017.
Persephone, as an active participant in the European Law Students' Association, enriched her awareness and skills of the law in various jurisdictions in continental Europe, gaining a more spherical understanding and insight of the legal practice. During her involvement, she authored and published an article on the ELSA Law Review (2015) in relation to abortion laws in the UK.
She has great experience as a corporate lawyer, acquired whilst previously working at another Cyprus law firm, where she acquired knowledge and skills in matters involving trusts, funds, public companies, sale and purchase of vessels, registration of vessels and reviewing as well as drafting commercial agreements.
Since joining the Firm, she has been performing Court appearances on a weekly basis, addressing the Court on all sorts of cases, involving the many different areas of the law that our Firm undertakes, in their simple to their most complex of phases, dealing with private client, taxation, to corporate and commercial litigation matters.
Persephone is always heavily involved in the reviewing and drafting of agreements, advising and taking on cases relating to family law, employment law, insolvency and orders for majority shareholders buyouts, as well as the preparation of written addresses and legal opinions on different aspects of the law. Persephone handles various immigration-related applications. She combines great legal instinct, ability and nature, with astounding interpersonal skills and a clear mind.
